My costume/ how to achieve this look

Hey Readers, so i was going to be a steampunk girl but that didn't work out so my costume is a covert operative instead. It turned out really well. If you would like to be a Covert operative like me here's what i did.
What i used:
-A gray fedora hat
-Sunglasses
-a trench coat(i used a black one)
-black clothes underneath, such as a black top and black pants
- Black shoes or boots
-a black brief case, (i took an envolope and put Top Secret on it and had it sticking out of the brief case)

Makeup: i put a lot of mascara, had a nice smokey eye but nothing too crazy
and i did a glossy pink lip. But you could use red lipstick if that suits you better.

A Steampunk inspired Halloween! part 1

I have recently been so inspired by Steampunk fashion! if you don't know what steampunk is... "Steampunk is a subgenre of speculative fiction, usually set in an anachronistic Victorian or quasi-Victorian alternate history setting. It could be described by the slogan "What the past would look like if the future had happened sooner."" So it is basically a rewritten version of victorian times and let me tell you the Fashions are off the hook! i am putting together a steampunk girl costume for halloween and will post it in part 2. But for now enjoy this post of steampunk fashion pics!

Fall 2013 Glamorous inspirations

Here are three glam looks i thought were just fantastic!
I really love the black tulle skirt, i'd love to diy one!
I like how she paired the printed dress with a collared shirt underneath.
The white shirt is always a classic, paired with a blue suit gives it a nice twist.

I hope you all enjoyed these pics and i hope you were inspired as well!

Getting Ready for Fall Fashion

I am so ready for cooler weather! and fall fashion is the subject of this blog post. Above is a pic from the Alice+Olivia prefall collection. I love this outfit! My favorite piece from the outfit is the black and white diamond pattern, pullover sweater.

A swingy, fifties full skirt is a perfect piece for fall with a long sleeve blouse or a sweater.

Fall clothing doesn't all have to be gloomy black though black is a fall staple. I also think it's good to add color in fall so go for a jewel tone which would be beautiful paired with black or dark navy.

Tips for Fashion on a Budget

Hello Friends! Today i am going to be sharing with you tips for Fashion on a Budget. One thing that is important to know is that you can be fashion forward without spending a lot of money. You can go to resale/consignment shops, watch for sales and shop the clearance racks at stores, and believe it or not you can find things that are on trend at your local thrift stores like Good Will.
Let's Begin!

Find out what you have in you closet and what you don't have.- Take Closet Inventory

Before you go shopping decide on the maximum amount of money you'll be spending and only take that amount, maybe $10 more but that's all! This will help prevent impulsive spending.

Try to find things that you can wear in different kinds of situations by styling the outfit differently. Say you have a floral circle skirt- for doing errands you can pair it with a tee shirt and flats but if you are going somewhere a bit more formal, say out to dinner or a party you could swap out the tee for a fancier collared shirt, heels and some sparklie jewelry.

And lastly enjoy the shopping without feeling guilty cuz you are not going over budget! Yay!   Check out the video below to see what these ladies found at Good Will
